On Walking — Art collaboration with Linda Linko

I had the pleasure to commission and collaborate with Linda Linko in developing an art series on an essay ‘Travel Stripped Bare’ by Jini Reddy for Directions Magazine. It is investigating the many aspects of the act of walking, seen through the layers of history and culture.

The internal process that happens within the mind and body while walking is part of the method, an approach in itself, to this abstracted interpretation that was developed together and expressed beautifully by Linda’s free flowing brush. Her sensitivity to textures and colours lend the series an unmistakably Lindaesque touch.
