Olive harvest at the groves of Rastrello — Vivek Vadoliya shoots for Design Hotels

For the Design Hotels book ‘Taste & Place’ I was pleased to concept and commission Vivek to shoot the story of old olive groves in a small town in Umbria. The family & friends of Rastrello hotel gathers together every year to harvest these ancient trees and make their own olive oil. The story captures the circularity between the kitchen, gardens and the grove, as well as its people and animals.
